Medical CenterPatient Centered, Physician Led
“On behalf of our entire team, I’d like to welcome you to the Great Falls Clinic Medical Center. The Great Falls Clinic Medical Center is committed in our efforts to provide an outstanding patient experience, by providing excellence in patient-centered healthcare through teamwork and physician leadership. We are committed to providing our patients and the communities we serve with quality, personalized health care. As a community hospital, we pledge to provide a comprehensive system of quality health care through caring, efficient, trusted, responsive and courteous service every day, with the number one goal of ensuring that our “Patients come First”.
Our medical staff and employees take unwavering pride in our hospital and services, and dedicate themselves to compassionate support and uncompromising standards. The highly educated, board certified, and skilled physicians of our hospital significantly contribute to our great reputation. Our goal is to provide you with information that you may need to make your experience here a positive one. We also invite you to contact administrative personnel if you have anything that you would like to discuss to improve the care at our facility.
DISCHARGE PLANNING: To ensure a safe transition from the Medical Center to home, we want to emphasize that no patient will be discharged from the Medical Center without a designated driver. Patients remain under the influence of anesthesia for about 24 hours after surgery. No important decisions should be made during that time frame.
ADVANCED DIRECTIVES: Please review the enclosed information regarding Advance Directives. Having an advance directive is important because the document communicates your wishes for medical care so that the choices people make on your behalf accurately reflect your wishes.
SATISFACTION SURVEY: We have included a satisfaction survey with your discharge instructions and would greatly appreciate any feedback that you may have regarding your experience with us. Your input is valuable and we thank you for your support and any opportunities to improve our services.
COMMUNITY RESOURCES: If you are from out of town and would like a list of motels and restaurants, please ask the receptionist to assist you.
FINANCIAL QUESTIONS: The Great Falls Clinic Medical Center has a Credit and Collection policy available to you at your request. If you have any questions regarding your insurance coverage, please refer them to the insurance specialist at 216-8050. We have also included some other financial information in this packet.
AFTER-HOURS AND EMERGENCY CARE: While we maintain around-the-clock staff of professional nurses, this hospital does not have an emergency room or intensive care unit, and there may not be a physician on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, there is always a physician on-call to evaluate and provide initial treatment for any patient who develops an emergency medical condition. If necessary, we will arrange for your transfer to an appropriate facility.
INECTION CONTROL LETTER: In approximately 1 to 2 weeks, you will receive a letter from our infection control committee inquiring about your surgical site. Please answer the questions and return the questionnaire promptly. This information assists us in tracking any potential surgical infections and will provide us an opportunity to assist you with any questions or concerns that may arise following your surgery.
On behalf of all of us, we welcome you to our facility. We know that you have a choice and we are gratified that you have chosen our facility. Please let us know how we can improve our services or simply let us know what you think.”
