04.28.2010 - Debbie Lewis, FNP-C, Joins the Great Falls Clinic Heart Center
The Great Falls Clinic is proud to announce the addition of nationally certified family nurse practitioner, Debbie Lewis, to the Clinic’s cardiology team. Debbie joins Clinic cardiologist, Dr. William Rowe, in the Great Falls Clinic Heart Center.
Debbie completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Illinois Wesleyan University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
With over twenty years of healthcare experience, her area of expertise includes arrhythmias especially atrial fibrillation, and working with newly diagnosed patients with arrhythmias to inform them about the disease, available options and the development of a management plan. “My overall philosophy is that if patients understand their diagnosis and treatment then they will take an active role in their healthcare and have better outcomes,” Lewis explained.
