Dr. McCafferty has over 31 years of emergency medicine experience and is excited to continue helping patients in the Great Falls community.

Dr. McCafferty received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1981.  He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at the Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, California in 1985. After finishing his residency, he made the move to Great Falls, Montana where he began practicing at the Deaconess Hospital in 1985. In his spare time, Dr. McCafferty enjoys fly fishing, camping, hiking and playing the ukulele.
