Tyler Sorensen, MD
Joins the Great Falls Clinic/Ophthalmology/Vision Department
July 22, 2015 – The Great Falls Clinic is pleased to welcome Tyler Sorensen, MD, ophthalmologist, to the Great Falls Clinic and to our Vision department. Dr. Sorensen will join medical ophthalmologist Dr. Tomas Padilla and optometrist Dr. Audra Sexton to expand services offered to all of our patients in the Vision department. Dr. Sorensen specializes in cataract surgery and glaucoma management, and he also provides comprehensive eye care. He has maintained active memberships with the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Sorensen received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2010 where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the prestigious Dean McGee Eye Institute at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City in 2014. Dr. Sorensen has volunteered much of his time with various causes such as seeing patients at an emergency eye clinic in Moore, Oklahoma for victims and rescue workers affected by tornadoes. Dr. Sorensen is joined by his wife and two children. They are excited to be moving to Big Sky Country to live a more active lifestyle outdoors. Dr. Sorensen looks forward to the advancement of his Ophthalmology practice in north central Montana.
