We are pleased to announce that we are offering Healthy Habits course which is a part of the National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP). The classes will be taught by registered dietitian Andrea Withey, RDN with diabetes educator and care managers. The goal of the course is to prevent or delay the development of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
“I am so excited to offer the Healthy Habits course to our community. This course offers a sustainable approach to health rather than just a quick fix. If you have prediabetes, I feel you are in such a great place to implement lifestyle changes to better your health for the long haul!” exclaimed Andrea Withey, RDN who is the Healthy Habits coordinator.
