My outpatient Infectious Disease Clinic can address and care for a multitude of clinical problems. I have listed below a list of the more common diagnoses for which I provide care*:

  • Acute and/or recurrent diverticulitis
  • Acute pneumonia (not requiring hospitalization), and recurrent pneumonia
  • Acute cellulitis, and recurrent cellulitis
  • All types of surgical site infections
  • Antimicrobial stewardship issues
  • Chronic Hepatitis B infection
  • Chronic sinusitis, often in concert with ENT
  • Complicated GYN infections, often in concert with GYN
  • COVID 19 related concerns
  • Diabetic foot infection, including osteomyelitis, typically alongside podiatry
  • Endocarditis
  • Enteric pathogen diarrhea/dysentery syndromes
  • Expert outpatient parenteral antibiotic care/continuation, usually post-discharge from acute care hospital
  • Hepatitis C infection
  • HIV infection
  • Influenza complications and/or prophylaxis
  • Liver abscess and biliary tract infections
  • Malaria and other travel related infections
  • Odontogenic infections
  • Recurrent clostridium difficile infection
  • Septic arthritis
  • Syphilis
  • Tuberculosis and atypical mycobacterial diseases
  • UTI, particularly recurrent UTI, often in concert with urology
  • West Nile and Zika virus infections
