Struggling with infertility? Let us help.

By Lisa Edmister, APRN, CNM

Anyone can be challenged to have a family; in fact, infertility is common with one in eight couples in the United States struggling to get pregnant. No matter what race, religion, sexuality or economic status, infertility does not discriminate.

Infertility is a frequently misunderstood condition. Often in the media, they feature shows and stories showing multiple births or age-related infertility and tend to focus on the female side of infertility. In fact, almost half of all infertile couples may deal with male factor infertility or a combination of male and female factors. In addition, it is important to realize that IVF is not the only option, many times medications and office procedures such as IUI are effective.

Our Women’s Health department can provide you with a thorough evaluation of your fertility health with a personalized approach to develop a plan specific for you. I would be honored to help you through your journey. Call 406-454-2171 to schedule today.
