Alicia Hamilton, PA-C,
Joins the Great Falls Clinic Northwest

September 14, 2021 – The Great Falls Clinic is pleased to welcome Alicia “Ali” Hamilton, a local family medicine physician assistant, to our primary care team at the Northwest Clinic. Alicia has owned and operated an independent practice in Great Falls known as Big Sky Family Care since 2014 and she is looking forward to transitioning her private practice to the Great Falls Clinic in October. She will work alongside Dr. Carey Welsh and NP Jennalie Guthmiller to expand primary care at the Northwest location.

Originally from Florida, Alicia was brought to Great Falls through her military service. Alicia has proudly served in the United States Army National Guard since 1998. Her most recent deployment from 2018 to 2019, she was deployed to Kuwait with MS National Guard. She used this time to mentor her Medics to enrich their knowledge base and team build, until her deployment led her to Iraq where she spent most of her deployment. She was able to participate with the Mosul Dam Clinic to provide free care to the local population.

Alicia specializes in all aspects of primary care with a special interest in in-office procedures, preventative medicine, injections, physicals, and DOT exams. Her mantra is patient education to help you make informed decisions for your healthcare.

Alicia received certification as an Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic from Durham County Community College in 2001. In 2006 she was completing her undergraduate degree at University of North Carolina when she was accepted into the military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) where she completed her Bachelor of Science Program in 2007, followed by a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2009, both hosted through the University of Lincoln Nebraska.

After completing her education, Alicia accepted her first position at the Great Falls Clinic in the Neurology Department in 2009. Alicia then transitioned to a primary care position in 2010 before opening her private practice in 2014. We are excited that Alicia will, once again, be a part of the Great Falls Clinic team.

In her free time, Alicia enjoys quilting, camping, learning, reading history, and being in the great outdoors with family and friends. She is a self-proclaimed Constitutionalist and is fiercely patriotic, thanking God for her opportunities.

Alicia is accepting all existing patients and new patients beginning October 6, 2021, at the Great Falls Clinic Northwest, 1600 Division Road in Great Falls. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call 406-268-1600.
