June 29, 2018 – The Great Falls Clinic is pleased to welcome Brandon McCafferty, MD, ophthalmologist, to the Great Falls Clinic and to our Vision department. Dr. McCafferty is a Great Falls native and recently completed his ophthalmology residency. Dr. McCafferty will see adult and pediatric patients for basic and comprehensive eye care and he also specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, glaucoma management, macular degeneration, diabetic eye care, and dry eyes. Dr. McCafferty will also continue to offer intravitreal eye injections on a scheduled basis.

Dr. McCafferty received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Medical School in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2014. He completed his surgical internship at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington in 2015 and then went on to complete his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota in June 2018. Dr. McCafferty has volunteered much of his time with various causes such as seeing patients at a free eye clinic in South Minneapolis and as an interviewer for the University of Minnesota Medical School Selection Committee. Dr. McCafferty and his wife, Cortney, are excited to be moving back to the Big Sky Country to live closer to family. Dr. McCafferty looks forward to the advancement of his Ophthalmology practice in north central Montana.
