Dr. Donald Stoddard, Hospitalist, Joins the Great Falls Clinic Hospital
July 26, 2021 – The Great Falls Clinic is pleased to welcome Donald Stoddard, MD, a hospitalist, to the Great Falls Clinic Hospital and to our team. Upon Dr. Bobby Maynard’s retirement, Dr. Stoddard will join Dr. Sherry Hong and NPs Aly Hinderager, Sharon Lyons and Becky Wozniak. Dr. Stoddard specializes in all aspects of hospitalist medicine including thoracentesis, paracentesis, central lines, arterial lines, and ventilator management.
Dr. Stoddard received his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon in 1989 where he majored in biochemistry and biophysics. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine from OHSU in Portland, Oregon in 1993. He completed his internal medicine residency, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1996. Dr. Stoddard has been practicing hospitalist medicine in Oregon for 25 years before making the decision to move to Montana.
Fun fact: Dr. Stoddard’s wife is originally from Big Sandy, Montana and they have a family farm in the area. They have been looking forward to returning home to Montana for many years.
In his free time, Dr. Stoddard enjoys staying active in Montana’s great outdoors, skiing, hiking, bicycling, playing with their golden retriever puppy, and spending time with family.
