Emily Stopka, NP, Joins the Great Falls Clinic Team
February 1, 2022 – The Great Falls Clinic is pleased to welcome Emily Stopka, NP, a local nurse practitioner, to our walk-in team. Emily is an experienced walk-in provider treating ages pediatric through geriatric. She will provide general medical care for a range of illnesses and minor injuries with onsite x-ray, lab, vaccines, and sports physicals available on a walk-in basis. Emily’s experience ranges from acute to chronic conditions with experience in treating URIs, COVID-19, respiratory diseases, chest pain, lacerations, abscesses, fractures, and various types of infections in patients of all ages.
Emily received her Associate Degree of Nursing in 2010 from Phoenix College after participating in an Accelerated RN Program. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Grand Canyon University in 2013. Emily practiced as a registered nurse in wound care at Banner Thunderbird Hospital before accepting a registered nurse position at the Mayo Clinic where she worked until 2018. During her work at the Mayo Clinic, Emily began her studies to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the Grand Canyon University in 2017 and accepted a job in Phoenix, Arizona in Internal Medicine shortly after completing her degree.
Emily and her family’s desire to move to Montana reached an all-time high when she visited family in Kalispell. She decided to make the move in 2019 and accepted a job at a local an urgent care before accepting a job at the Great Falls Clinic.
