Did you visit an outpatient Hospital department* (see list below) for service?
It is a Hospital bill.
*Hospital Outpatient Departments: Echocardiography, Infusion, Laboratory, Physical Therapy, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Speech Therapy, Surgery Center, and Wound Care.
What does ‘hospital outpatient’ mean?
“Hospital outpatient” refers to the billing process for services rendered in a hospital outpatient clinic or location. This is the national model of practice for large, integrated delivery systems where the hospital owns space and employs support personnel involved in patient care.
Does your statement account number start with CH?
It is a Hospital bill. If it has a CA or Athena, you must use the Clinic bill pay.
Did you see a doctor for your annual exam or wellness?
It is a Clinic bill.
Did you visit one of our walk-in locations?
It is a Clinic bill.
Did you visit our Emergency Room or any other department within the Hospital building?
It is a Hospital bill.
Did you have a procedure in-office (not including Hospital Outpatient Departments*)?
It is a Clinic bill.
