Michael Flores, MD, Joins the Great Falls Hospital Hospitalist Department

The Great Falls Clinic is pleased to welcome Dr. Michael Flores to our hospitalist team. Dr. Flores is a highly experienced nocturnist who has practiced since 1986. As a nocturnist, Dr. Flores provides care at night to our hospitalized patients.

Dr. Flores earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry degree at University of California in Davis, California in 1978. He went on to graduate with his Doctor of Medicine at the University of California School of Medicine at Los Angeles in 1982. From 1982 to 1985, Dr. Flores completed his residency for family practice at the University of New Mexico.

After completing his residency, Dr. Flores started his own family practice in Flagstaff, Arizona and provided care at Flagstaff Medical Center. He has provided care across multiple specialties, including family medicine, emergency medicine, hospitalist medicine, obstetrics, surgery, and pediatrics during his time practicing in Arizona. Dr. Flores has been practicing as a nocturnist at Western Arizona Medical Center before joining the Great Falls Hospital team full-time.

In his free time, Dr. Flores enjoys kayaking, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and climbing. He can speak three different languages: English, Spanish, and German.
